Adina Mangubat is the CEO and co-founder of Spiral Genetics, a Seattle-based bioinformatics company. Spiral Genetics makes complex genetic variant detection software for medical and agricultural research. In her current role, Adina was featured in Forbes 2012 30 under 30 for Science and Healthcare and was a keynote panelist at the 2013 BIO conference in Chicago. Prior to starting Spiral Genetics, she worked with two other high technology start-up companies in smart grid and home automation technology. As a passionate mentor for young innovators, Adina co-founded DragonCurve which is an organization dedicated to supporting young entrepreneurship. Adina holds a B.S. in Psychology with a focus on Biopsychology, Psychopharmacology and Entrepreneurship from the University of Washington.
